Marcus Hale leads Juriso’s criminal defense practice in New York. He represents individuals and executives in white-collar investigations, state and federal prosecutions and appeals.
Marcus began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, where he tried more than thirty felony cases to verdict. He joined Juriso in 2011 and became a partner in 2016, bringing a prosecutor’s understanding of how cases are built and where they are weakest.
His recent work includes the dismissal of every count in a 2025 securities fraud prosecution and an appellate win that vacated a four-year sentence. He is known for detailed suppression practice and for preparing clients carefully before any interview.
Marcus answers new arrests personally and runs each matter with Adaeze Okafor, so that clients always know who is responsible for their defence.
“Most cases are won long before trial, in the evidence nobody else read closely.”
